Tried to schedule dental appointments. The receptionist didn't seem to understand what a referral or fax was. She went to check and put me on hold. 30 minutes later I gave up. I can see why they have the ratings they have. NYU dental affiliates in general have been totally unhelpful. They must not like making money.

This place is a waste of time and money. I can not believe the doctor lied to my face, not once, but twice. I went in the first time, after hours of trying to provide financial information to know what category of payment I would fall under I finally was able to get x rays done. Once the doctor saw them she explained I needed to get my root canal redone because there was an infection. So they scheduled me for my root canal one or so weeks later. The day of my procedure came and so I went back, this time with all my personal financial documentation, spent another hour at the front desk and at least another half an hour for the doctor. Then once sitting on the chair thinking I’m finally going to get relief, the so called doctor decides that she can not preform my canal. Then she lies to me again and tells me there is a 4pm appointment at the main hospital for a specialist and that they will be able to fix my tooth right away. So I took the entire day off work to make it to that appointment. Once I see the doctor there, I wait for another hour only to get that doctor to say to me that if I wanted to get it fixed the next day I would have to come as a walk in and wait for an availability because they were booked throughout the whole week and that the wait could be of multiple hours. I could not believe what a joke patients are to these people, even those that Fall higher than self pay category, to them it is all charity and do not care for the well being of their paying customers. Save yourself the heartache, the tooth ache and the money spent on trying to get dental care here. Today I will finally see a real specialist, and even though I know I’ll be paying more, I will finally get relief.

The costumer service is terrible. I called before going in and explained my problem. They told me come in and once I went they informed me that the Surgen who needs to give me a consultation is not there, he only comes once a week. The fact that I called and spoke to them and was told to come in just to be informed that I can’t be seen today. I would give zero stars. Waisted money to take car service there just to find that out.

I was under the impression these people will do your dental work even without insurance so a lot of u complaining should be a little easy on people who work in all these mouths for free

Day Dream

Did a filling here last week, went home and found a hole between the tooth and the filling at the exact tooth that was filled, went back the next week for walk in because the next appointment available is two weeks after. My experience at this place is that a dentist leaves a hole in the tooth that was to be filled and to reschedule takes two weeks long and no one here were going to take responsible or at the very least let me get that tooth fixed asap even after I explained the case that clearly was the dentists problem. Take my experience in consideration if anyone were thinking to go here for the dental.
