We had a lovely choice of sites right upon the waters edge, and Caroline and I had a lovely supper as we watched the effects of the setting sun, and the high tide as it made the wee peninsular playground smaller and smaller. The fire pits are built up on a concrete slab, and the wood we purchased was surprisingly more hardwood birch than softwood, so this was rare indeed and we enjoyed a lovely fire, with wood leftover for the neighbours as we packed our tents away the following morning. The site was largely pine needles and some gravel, so we ended up pitching the tents on a wooden deck which we chose as an option, which was a first for me, and not an ideal spot for back packing tents, but it was wonderful to be on level ground (wood) that night. The facilities were a short walk away, and we had no problems with the cleanliness or function of them.

Great campground, very accommodating. We were very late getting in and she only charged us for one night. The area was clean, washrooms and showers were big. Very Happy with the stay here.

Great camp ground and the staff and seasonal campers are most helpful in every way there is a few nice places to walk dogs if you have them very close to st Stephen and st andrews towns so was nice to go round both would highly recommend driving over the sea bed to minesters island but think that the entry fee to get on there is a but steep. When low tide is in the evening. But you can just turn around and not go on the island lots of people park up to get local seafood.

Beautiful campground, super friendly, they bring you to your campsite. They deliver wood and ice. My wife and her friend forgot thier bottle of wine and Joe (Owner) brought them a bottle of wine. Wouldn't take any money for it. Definitely will go back. Can't ask for a better campground.

I have not yet encountered such a thing as a five star campground. However, this one is pretty good. Situated on Oak Bay on the Fundy shore, it offers a truly beautiful vista of the water. Beaches within a few minutes walk. A great choice of sites and a very friendly couple in charge. Rates are reasonable and they offer a Seniors' discount. We have stayed here before and we will again.

I hit the beach and floated about for a bit. It was fun but then my floatie sprung a leak and, as I slowly sang into the shallow, lukewarm water; I thought to myself, "time to go home."

We just wanted to share our experience at oak bay we have been seasonal campers there for ten years our time there was excellent couldn't ask for better owners kathy and Joe and their family they go beyond for their campers the campground is well looked after clean washrooms and showers lots of fun activities awesome people we will miss them all I would definitely recommend this beautiful campground to anyone thank you guys for the great 10 years have a wonderful season
