The VFW Post is a gathering place for like minded individuals, It is far from the 80's stigma of the smoke filled room with only a group of drunk old guys drinking at the bar. Yes there are the regulars that come in and sit at the bar. Stop in for a bite to eat, the food is great. Kevin (Manager) has really brought a new light into the Post, Megan is normally behind the bar (Alcohol and Gambling is for Members and authorized guests, but anyone can stop in for something to eat). They have regular meetings at 6:30 PM on the first Monday of the month.

These folk apparently need higher standards. I've seen veterans who forget their oath and join law enforcement in enforcing usurped authority. I've seen veterans that open shops only to take full advantage of their position by screwing over their customer base. I've watched veterans judge other veterans and drive right past them when they're in need of help or even counseling. There's one thing all these veterans have in common... They all are members of an organization that's supposed to be founded on service, love of country, love of freedom, and to support and defend the citizens of this country. What A Freaking Joke.
