A must try for delicious vegan eats!! Lion Dance serves up special dishes that aren’t usually available vegan. They also usually have a few gluten free options. The flavors are wonderful and fresh. During COVID you can order ahead on Wednesday for weekend pick up. The ice cream they serve (I forget the name of the creamery it is from) is so creamy and a perfect after dinner treat.

Lion Dance Cafe is the bomb. Their shaobing sandwich is an absolute must try - they change it up regularly, but it's always amaaaazing. Nobody knows how to play with flavor like LDC!! Some of their noodle dishes have been hit or miss with me. I really loved their zhajiangmian from a pop-up a while back. Right now they're operating on pre-order only through their website for Fri and Sat pick up. Set an alarm for Wednesdays cause they sell out! Sometimes there's a line at pick up. It's pricey, but it's a queer/womxn/immigrant owned vegan business yall, lift them up!!
Everything I put in my mouth was great and my eyes are definitely bigger than my tummy. I was so full I saved the cookies for the next day. The shaobing had tasty fillings and the bread is always delicious. I wish the gailan was a tad more tender. When I bit into it, i would pull out other ingredients, so it was a bit messy.
Instead of directly copying over the regular Singaporean hawker center experience with excess of oil and salt, their food is more like the 'Best in Singapore' experience where you have to queue up and everything is sold out early (they do preorders, but the special items are queue up only) Their laksa has a super creamy broth and taste so good. Their nuggets are so flavorful even before the dip! I'll have to go every week to catch up on their weekly menu
THE BEST!! I love this place so much. The only thing that would make it better is if it were open 24 hours and delivered to SF so I could satisfy my cravings all the time. The laksa is my OG fave but those crispy congee balls with the jackfruit filling may just be my new fave. I eat the food so fast when I never get a chance to take a photo. Oops!
Always a good selection of curated dishes on both the Friday and Saturday menus. Easy pickup made convenient by pre-selected 15-minute time windows. Bold flavors and great sambal sauces.
Ordered the laksa, shaobing sandwich, and tofu bites. Everything was SO flavorful and complex. Will definitely be back.
