I was surprised with an afternoon tea (for a birthday treat) The man that delivered it was really friendly and it was done socially distanced. The food was well packaged and set out beautifully. The contents were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them. I can’t fault them at all!! It really made my birthday extra special.

Been going here for a couple of years. Went in with no face covering only to be challenged and told I should have proof!!! The lady even made a remark\do you not watch the news\. You can not prove you are exempt so why they have a pathetic sign up discriminating people is beyond me. Wont be going here again

We've just eaten our afternoon tea! It was delivered and packaged beautifully! It was absolutely delicious, I couldn't finish my half atm as it was really filling! It was an absolute treat and worth every penny! Thank you Oaklands for your top notch quality

Taste wise, it's excellent and fresh! Bit on the expensive but it's quality is good.. Looks amazing too. But on my second visit, I asked for fully cooked eggs and it was so running, I have to bin it due to the mess it made (as I took a big bite thinking egg was done as expected). On top of it, it was more expensive than previous order I had even though I ordered the exact same thing! I won't make it my to go to place. They won me the first time but disappoint me the second.

I challenge you to find a better breakfast roll (cob). The staff are efficient and polite and the seating area is comfortable, immaculately decorated and kept if you want to sit in for a full breakfast or lunch. Meats at the butchers counter are fresh with a great selection and the coffee and cakes are great too! I have been coming to them for years both at the old shop and the new location and it’s only got better since the move. Well worth a diversion off the M1 junction 24 it’s only two minutes, skip the service station rubbish.
