Our party of five went here for New Year’s Eve. This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in quite some time. I am a pretty experienced foodie when it comes to fine dining. The staff was so friendly and service was as attentive as necessary without being over bearing. Serving of all dishes was nicely paced. Wine and water were all promptly topped off, even on a busy night. The owner was present throughout the night and seemed pretty hands on. Checked in with every table at least once from what I could tell. Loved our server!

My go to place at least once a week. anytime family or friends come into town this is the first place I take them and they fall in love. Staff is one of the friendliest I have encountered and the food is always excellent. Drinks are great!

I never had steak that good and cooked so well. It was super tender and had amazing flavor. I loved the mashed potatoes and the gravy pulled everything together. Each time I went, I thought I would have at least a little bit of leftovers but nope all gone. This is really a restaurant if you looking for a great service and fantastic food taste

We ordered take out from SouthWood (the takeout menu is a merge of both places. We ordered the BBQ ribs and pan-roasted half-chicken, and topped it off with the wicked chocolate cake. The ribs required 10 minutes in a 400 F oven, but came out perfect: spicy, juicy, and lean. Food was delicious.

This seafood chowder is delicious! I was expecting something like cioppino but it was quite different! Not spicy and so so creamy! And the beet salad was very flavorful and the beets were perfectly cooked and still had a bit of crispness to them. That is blue cheese mousse at the bottom of the beet salad, and I really wanted to lick it clean! The nuts on top added the perfect crunch!
