The studio is a wonderful place for young people to learn to love art and to appreciate it. Ixchel is a remarkable teacher and artist and we were lucky to have our son in her classes. Unlike other art places around, the Oakville Arts Studio actually teaches kids about art and music and history. Ixchel always connects the art projects of the students to music and to other important aspects of art in general. It is worth noting also their very strict anti-bullying policies. Your kid will be safe and happy there, I promise you. Very, very highly recommended!

It's the second year our kid was attending the studio. Our kid said a word \stupid\ when describing background music they had to listen to and was suspended for good with no refund, although we paid till December! They surely know how to communicate with kids! bring them in! Yesterday was the first time this year someone told us she had \behavioural issues\, obviously Art Studio teachers cannot deal with a slip of the tongue of a 8 y.o. My daughter is a curious, kind and passionate about art. Teaching kids is sometimes a challenge, maybe if one can't deal with kids, he or she shouldn't teach them.
