I bought an ebike from Ben a few weeks ago and he took the time to go over all the bikes and I even rode the bike I decided to buy in the rainy weather. What sets this bike shop a part from the others I inquired about bikes from is they are very responsive to messages and actually read your questions and answer them. Others have vague answers or didn’t respond to follow ups. I also like the ability to book an appointment online and receive text confirmations. Very professional and courteous. You can tell Ben cares about his business and customer. I will be sending anyone interested in ebikes his way. As a woman, some bike shops can be intimidating because you don’t know if you will be condescended and put off but here they talk to you like you are a regular intelligent person.

I purchased an ebike from Ben at Oakville ebikes and couldn’t be happier. I had been looking for a specific bike and they were the only shop outside of Quebec that had one left And they only had one. It was after hours when I emailed and asked about the bike and asked that they hold it for me until I came in to see it. I lived an hour away. I promised I would buy a bike if he would hold that one for me to see if it was the right size. Ben responded that he would hold the bike and wouldn’t sell until I had a chance to see it, and he also said he would not sell to me either unless I was completely comfortable with it. Which I thought was so amazing. Putting customers first. We went for a test ride on the bike and Ben brought a second bike saying he wanted me to try this one as well. The second bike cost less then the bike I wanted but he wanted me to ride both to see which was better suited. And he explained both bikes to me and the differences. Again. Putting the customer first. And once we loaded the bike in my vehicle he insisted on wiping it down with Lysol wipes. I told him he didn’t have to but he insisted. In all the places I’ve shopped since covid no one else has done. Customer care and appreciation Then. A couple days later and after I had a chance to ride the bike again I decided I wanted the bike seat from the other bike if possible and I reached out to the manufacturer who contacted Ben to see if he had the seat, which he did (I didn’t think Ben would have a spare seat as it was a seat they sold for a different ebike) so Ben called me and made arrangements to come to my home and personally change out the seats. At no charge. How many places have you ever shopped and got this kind of service. I have no doubt what so ever if I have any issue or need anything Ben and Oakville ebikes will be there for me. Usually you can buy a bike anywhere. But. How many places give this kind of 5 service. I haven’t gotten it anywhere else
I recently bought the magnum low rider from Ben at his store. His focus on detail, and enthusiasm for making sure i got the right bike for me was great. He went over the bike in great detail before letting it out of his store. He is a bike rider himself and is truly invested in the business of cycling. I highly recommend him and his store. I am thrilled with my bike and very happy with Ben's commitment to service and customer satisfaction.
I recently purchased a Surface 604 "Rook" model from Oakville e-Bikes. The owner Ben and his technician Ethan went totally above and beyond in the scope of customer service. They are an enthusiastic, friendly and a very knowledgeable team, where they put the customers' interests above all and pride themselves on personal one-on-one service. Ben delivered the bike personally to my home and spent over an hour making all the necessary adjustments to fit the bike properly to me and explaining how to care for and operate the bike. I did end up having some manufacturer QC issues with this otherwise fantastic bike, and when I advised Ben, he personally came to my house to investigate the problem. Once the issue was isolated he immediately worked with the manufacturer to find a solution AND also brought me a replacement bike of the same model!! Once the parts arrived, the technician Ethan fixed the issues with my bike and Ben came to the house again to return my bike and pick up the replacement. I could not have asked for better service! If you are looking for an eBike and are anywhere in the GTA, you owe it to yourself to visit Ben's shop first to see the quality selection that he carries and to experience their stellar customer service for yourself!!
Bought a rook ebike from john @Surface 604 problems under warranty. was referred to Ben @ oakville E- Bikes. Ben went to bat for me and went above and beyond my expectations , a new rook and a credit. Thanks again Ben,/// Good Person//Highly recommend
