I filled out an application to volunteer. The woman who interviewed me asked for my resume which I provided. Because I had no college education the woman proceeds to insult my intelligence saying I should go to college. I never received a phone call since then. I’m a motivational speaker, success coach and spiritual advisor. To treat someone this way, who just wants to help out, is unacceptable. I believe I was judged and the universe does not pay kindly to those who judge other people for wanting to do good for other people and teach those less fortunate with words of wisdom and knowledge and faith. What I was asked to do online was to come to a charity event. It seems they’ve become more proned to getting monetary funds. The more volunteers the more locations that can be opened up.

So appreciative and grateful for this agency. Staff always helpful and friendly. Literally saved my family at times when we were short on money and starved. Jessica assisted us and works with us on classes and helps my husband son and I however she can.

This place is true to its name an Oasis of compassion. Needed some assistance and Zoila was wonderful and compassionate helping those in need. Keep up the good work!

Jessica saved me helping me navigate the Direct Express debit card website to get my stolen money returned. Although I arrive late after the pantry closed the stuff help me with some simple groceries that I could carry and easily eat without cooking facilities they were very compassionate
