As a teenager and young adult, I visited relatives who lived in Oberammergau. I have had a beautiful hand carved nativity for many years. I did not have the wise men. About 3 years ago, I contacted Toni Bauer and sent him the measurements of the figures I had. He carved 3 wise men for me that are perfectly sized for my nativity. You would never know that the original nativity, which I believe came from his shop, and the 3 new figures were carved so many years apart. I could not be happier with the carvings, and with the prompt and very thoughtful response to my request.

I bought a high priced carved figure. The owner explained how I will get the VAT at the airport but did not provide me the needed paperwork. After returning I tried to work it out with him. Well, he said that is your business and he is not willing to help. Never again sorry
