広すぎない面積に資料が沢山あり、大人も子供も楽しめました。 二階のビデオ上映も楽しんで見ることができました。 ばんえい競馬のルール等初めて知ることが沢山で面白かったです。

在来の道産子は体高135くらいの小さめの馬だったようです。 やはりヨーロッパの大きな馬から、今の体高175の馬に進化した様です。

帯広競馬場の一角にある馬の資料館。十勝開拓時の歴史、ばんえいの資料や馬に纏わる貴重な品々が展示されています。資料のほとんどは、その大勢の方の協賛によって寄贈された貴重な物です。ちなみに入場料は無料。馬の造詣を深めたい方、自由研究の宿題でのたうち回ってる御子は是非どうぞ。
