A hidden gem! We were invited here for a play date and my daughters had a blast. A perfect place for rainy days and it was secure and safe. The bathrooms were clean and the coffee shop was awesome. We really had a good time and I would recommend it for children of all ages.

This interactive science center is a hidden gem with loads of interesting exhibits that explore physical science. I was concerned my young (under 5) children would be bored but I was wrong, after 3 hours they didn't want to leave! Older kids get to do some actual experiments and so there's fun for all ages.

We wanted to take the kids to sight seeing and we loved the MTN science centre in the Canal walk centre which we visited years ago. I searched on the Internet and found the Cape Town Science Centre with photos and reading hours which showed that they are open. We especially drove from Strand to the science centre were we found that they only open in January. What a dissapoint ment.

Great learning-through-play experience for kids. Party venue available and onsite coffee shop. No ramp or elevator for those who have limited mobility

Lots to learn for adults and kids alike. Kept the kids entertained for a few hours of building and learning. Great activities and space.

Oh My Word. What an absolutely amazing place. There is definitely too little time to enjoy everything in a day. We were there during the school holidays and the holiday program was brilliant. I hardly saw my daughter and her friends because they were running from one event to the next. I do however suggest that you add more tables and chairs for parents and caregivers during the holidays. And perhaps clean up the babies play area. It was filthy on the day we were there.
