This park (former Royal Château where the Heir passed away in June 1789) is both impressive and a bit neglected. The former gates, wall and L'Orangerie of the castle still remain ... the bulk of the new Château makes up the Paris Observatory. The view of Paris is amazing from this elevated spot, the park still slightly hints at what once was. Interestingly, it was here (virtually alone)where I saw the first functioning fountain while in France - in August in a deserted park. I laughed cause previously visiting Versailles (with thousands of tourists), not a single fountain was functioning.

Such a tranquil and peaceful place. This garden overlooks Paris and gives a bird's eye view of the valley. You can see Montmartre, Sacre-couer, and the Eiffel Tower. Beautiful point for sunset watching. I can't recommend it enough. It's a must visit.
Flat grass & walkways with rows of tall trees at a local high hill with broad view of Paris skyline. Quite picturesque. Occasionally hosts special events - we ran across historic car show!
Beautiful view of Paris from top. There are a lot of trees and green to hang around.
There's a wonderful veiw of Meudon and and the Eiffel Tower. Great place to watch the the sunset and be with the ones you love.
