Great facilities. I have tog et blood drawn every month and have also gone for ER stuff. Always friendly doctors. I did get a covid test and although there is no follow up, it was still easy (and free for dependents).

Super nice looking hospital however only had a few experiences here for non serious related issues so I cant comment on how well they do things here. However they seem to have everything your little heart could desire here and it is super pleasing to the eyes on the inside.

I have been a USMC spouse for 19 years. My three children were all born in naval hospitals. Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton provides excellent, responsive care, in a new facility, with caring and competent healthcare providers, nurses, medics, and other personnel. I, too, have had issues with the phone service - absolutely. Most recently, someone hung up on my son when he was having an issue explaining what he needed. Though this was very frustrating, a few people who answer the phone and are impolite and/or incompetent does not make a hospital. And, all anyone needs to do is contact a patient advocate via telephone (leave a message), fill out an ICE comment or go to the hospital and any issues that you have will be addressed!

I was rushed to the ER the 8th of February for abdominal pain. The ER was filling up quickly but the admiission team was great at keeping me informed as to when I would be seen. They apologized for things beyond their control. They had to call in on-call support to keep up with the overflow of patients. Not person on-call complained of being called in. Very positive attitude. I couldn't have been in better hands. The initial examination team to the technicians and Doctors were top notch and on point consistently. Great attitude and professionalism, always asking if I needed anything. They even went out to meet my brother and retrieve my Samsung cell phone charger (I guess this is an Apple community). Dr.Lowry and her team of Physicians gave me the assurance that they would resolve my gallbladder problems and have me back to myself in no time. They keep their word. I have been in several hospitals for various treatments but NHCP is stellar with their patient care. I don't have everyone's name but again TEAM doesn't get better than this. I am forever grateful and indebted to my caregivers Blessings, Ken D. Shannon Retired United States Air Force

Offers no COVID-19 follow up care unless you’re dying. Won’t re-test, won’t re-evaluate you, won’t give any additional paperwork to cover you for work. Took them 10 days to call me after my COVID results were posted on their patient portal to even notify me that I had a positive test. I had some lingering symptoms after 20 days of my positive test. I went back at the direction of my Command to get cleared to return to duty and all they gave me was a card with a QR code for testing at one of San Diego county’s free testing sites.
