I am giving Ocksrider one star because the maintenance man is kind and attentive, and the house was nice. Otherwise, Ocksrider gets ZERO stars. We rented from Ocksrider for 2 years; we even paid the first 6 months rent up front, because I was a graduate student and had no assets or income other than student loans. The people in the office were always rude and did not respond to our requests for maintenance. We called the maintenance man directly, and he efficiently dealt with any issue. Upon move out, we cleaned the house thoroughly according to the extensive list provided by Ocksrider. We received 9 of our 1250 security deposit. Ocksrider cited carpet replacement (for a single room) as the reason for not receiving the deposit. I would have understood if Ocksrider withheld some money for carpet replacement, but 1241 seems like a whole lot for the cheap shag that was used in the room. Ridiculous! This company is a SHAM.

We rented with them for 6 months and had to move short notice. Tammy was extremely understanding and helped us every step of the way. Normal rental companies would be unwilling to help as much for breaking a contract early. I appreciate everything they've done and wish we could have stayed longer.

Great company. Great people that work there. Great homes that they rent and have recommended them to everyone I know. Yes I would like their office hours to be longer but you can get in touch with maintenance any time for any problem. Love the house I am in and would use Ocksrider over any company I have ever used in the past.

I leased a property from Ocksrider for 6 years due to a reasonable monthly charge. The office is totally unresponsive and rarely fixed major issues. We waited over 6 months to have a leaking roof replaced and even longer to have the ceiling inside finished. There was a great deal of debris in the yard when we moved in (that they promised to clean up and never did) and we were charged when leaving for improving the backyard. Be careful and don't use them if you can avoid it. The only decent person working for them is the overworked and very kind maintenance man.

ZERO STARS. I have never dealt with a more dishonest business. The office manager is rude and never follows through on anything she promises. I rented a home and due to unforeseen circumstances I had to move out early. I called them and even cleaned the carpet with their carpet company and cleaned the home thoroughly. A month later a new renter moved in and they kept my damage deposit of 1195 which I understood due to the quick move out. I didn't receive an itemized receipt either. Ten months later I checked my credit and they had put a debt on there for 3100. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint about them. Unsurprisingly, they aren't affiliated with the BBB. Choose any other property company. This one is abhorrent.
