I am a traveling donor (with my Twin) and we are supposed to donate our 2nd donation today in Sacramento but when we arrived they are closed. This is the 3rd facility in a (2 hrs away) neighbor city I have called to find out if you're REALLY open or not and this facility phone system gave me the same \all centers are open normal business hours and accepting new donors\ starter message followed by the ring to the facility itself, that, when unanswered, tells me to \visit the center for assistance or try your call again later\ ..... I just drove from Eureka to Sacramento... I am not driving another 100 miles to see if the facility is open. I am writing this review with the intention to inspire Octapharma facilities to start treating donors like they are actually worth quality notifications about local facility closures and phone messages for travelers like me, who sometimes plan drives to accommodate regular donations. Thank you. I will update this review when/if someone updates the phone systems and or email notifications to address facility closures and time changes.

I honestly think that some of these nurses aren't qualified to draw. They have done a horrible job everything whether it be customer service or simply putting a needle in a vein. They seem to poke you at least three times and even then another nurse will come around and ask if it hurts because it isn't put in all the way. These nurses are unprofessional and should be trained again on how to do their job because what they are doing now is not it.

Highly unprofessional staff, very rude and disrespectful. On 3 separate occasions the staff was very deceptive regarding the payouts. It took them over 3 weeks to correct their mistake in failing to compensate for a referral which they advertised the whole time they blamed their corporate office then after 3 weeks they corrected \at the local branch\ level - which means they could have done that the entire time instead of blaming their corporate office... everytime myself or someone I know comes here they are always rude and disrespectful.
