Outstanding customer service! The two ladies who helped me were extremely polite and spoke English very well. The Toyota GT-86 was the perfect car to take up to Chureito Pagoda. I'm very embarrassed that I damaged the car on the way back to the shop. I didn't realize how close I was to the side of the road and some bushes scratched the side of the car. Thankfully I had opted for the insurance and it covered the damage. Even if your a safe driver, I would highly recommend that any foreigners not used to driving on the left side of the road purchase insurance. It can be difficult to reorient your brain for driving on the other side of the road.

English ok, rental was straight forward including pick up and drop off.
This is 1 of 2 Toyota Rent A Cars in Odawara. It is easily accessible from the south side exit of Odawara station. If you accidentally go to the other one (on the north side of the station) go out the other side. Booking online was super convenient on the website as there is an English version of the website. They were also accommodating of my vehicle choice: a Toyota 86 Sports Car with Manual Transmission. Driving around in the mountains in Hakone was a blast.

開店時刻 8時に店頭へ すでに3組店内が手狭だったので 外で待機（忖度）その後アクティブな男性が『ズカズカ』店内へ受付手続開始 結果5番目に…。対応したスタッフが一人だった。 店内も敷地も狭いが もう一人が受付対応し 順番の管理をし 対応するだけで印象変わったと思った。
