I’m not sure they actually sell fireplaces. In 2016 I was building a new home and decided to visit Sensational about installing a wood burner into my home. We landed on a particular unit, I gave them a copy of the blueprints with next steps to come out and estimate installation. No response or follow-up. Fast forward to 2019. We’re in the process of finishing some unfinished space and are in the market a gas fireplace. After shopping around I went back to Odessa to look at their gas fireplace options. Gentleman was very nice, took time to explain different units, what options work for me. We talked about my requirements, location, timelines, next steps, and he sent me home with literature to help narrow down my choices. I called a week later to setup a visit for Sensational to come out and review the site (as discussed) so they could provide an estimate on a specific unit. No return call back. Two weeks pass, I leave another message – still no response. Casually speaking with a co-worker about my experience, he shared that he had the exact same response from Sensational. Visiting the showroom was great. Getting them to follow-up and sell or install a fireplace – nonexistent. Sensational either doesn't sell fireplaces, or there is a limit to what or where they can sell them. Regardless they lack transparency, communication and follow-up. There are plenty of people in town who sell the same units. My experience is anything but sensational - DO NOT RECOMMEND
There are few businesses that go above and beyond these days and this is what you get from these folks! So helpful in answering ALL my questions and guiding me in knowledge about my product. They KNOW THEIR products!!! I'd give them higher then 5 stars if I could! The owmers exemplify true great American small business owners!
