Wow, Dave's skillful approach to repairing, refurbishing and restoring these wonderful machines is top-notch service! I honestly don't remember the first machine I brought over to him, but what I recall, right off the bat, was his kindness, his friendly aurora, and his sense of passion for what he does. He assessed my machine with total fairness and honesty. He laid down the framework on what had to be done in order to meet my specifications, and he absolutely did not disappoint. His attention to detail, his depth and knowledge, and his repairman skills far exceeded my expectations. But not only was his technical proficiencies of excellent quality but also the way he handled business. Dave knows how to make a customer feel welcomed. He's a great conversationalist, whether it's about typewriters or not. Ever since I sent him my first machine, I knew he be the only guy I turn to for repairs, and over the years, I've become a collector, and the more I send his way, the more advice he gives me on what to be aware of before purchasing. He knows his stuff, and I highly recommend his service. If you like typewriters and want to use them then Dave's your guy.

David is super friendly and knowledgeable about typewriters. He took the time to explain what he was going to fix and gave me an estimated cost for repair. He was quick with my repair. Worked like a charm when typing a love letter to my partner. :)

My Grandfather gave me an old Underwood SS in pretty poor condition and David was able to restore it mechanically. He also polished and cleaned it up aesthetically far beyond my expectation, finding replacement parts and even crafting a new belt. I cannot thank David enough. The work took much longer than initially estimated but the results were so worth it. Highly recommend.

I found David by searching google. I had read many others computer repair shop and this one jus stood out. Yeah he is across town but the drive is worth all the work he put into fixing my typewriter. It jus glides along as I hit the 's it feels new. He's soft spoken and quick to get ready 2 start 2 wk on ur devices. So give him a try because I'm looking for otber things he can fix. Thanks David
