I have visited the centershop of Oftringen, there are the Aldi, Mediamarket, mobile shopcenter, etc.

Only four shops here when I visited in September 2015 but most visitors should find what they need as long as it's only a mobile phone subscription, clothes, groceries or consumer electronics on their shopping list! There is a massive Mediamarkt situated there which should satisfy the needs of the gadget lovers. If you are going there for food shopping, be prepared to be disappointed as there is ony (at the time of writing this) a Denner supermarket in the centre. There were also two coffee shops there which have been closed for some time so the only refreshments available are from the vending machines. Although there are only four shops open, you still have to pay a minimum of Fr.-1 for parking! Ridiculous
