Went here for Valentine’s Day and the staff was so kind and although it was getting busier as time went on they still checked in on us if everything was tasting good and refilling my partner and I’s water. They had a great selection of vegetarian rolls too! The rolls were so tasty and got us really full! The dessert we got was also great which was the Tempura Cheesecake! 5/5 for great food and friendly service.

I ordered sushi on a Monday for pick up. On Mondays this restaurant offers 50% off sushi. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it. The sushi didn't have much flavor. I totally understand that it's cheap sushi so my expectations weren't very hight. But the amount of fish in the rolls is sad. Hardly any tuna and the tuna was cut super thin. The rice didn't have much flavor either. They didn't provide any soy sauce packets. The only good item, was the miso. The miso was delicious! I might give it another try but not on a monday.
I generally only give positive reviews. But this was a situation that made the eating and customer service experience horrible. I went with a large group to buy a lot of sushi. We were intending to spend hundreds of dollars. We were told not to place our full order when we showed up specifically at the chefs request. When we ordered more sushi, we were told the kitchen is now closing and there was no option to place any more orders. Despite receiving less than half a meal, we still saw orders going to other customers after we were told we could no longer order. Whoever that chef was, he’s very effectively trained a large group of would-be returning customers to never return.
If zero stars were an option, I'd choose no stars over 1 star. We came for lunch with 13 people. They seated us and then told us we couldn't order our sushi order all at once, per the chef, and we needed to order a couple rolls at a time. We complied. We were not even half way through our meal and the waitress told us they we're closing the kitchen, and we could not order anymore sushi. It was 215pm. She never explained the kitchen closed when we came in or we never would have sat down. Terrible customer service and they don't want business. The sushi wasn't that great either. Save yourself the and go elsewhere.
The food and sushi here is amazing IF you eat in the restaurant. We have placed a to-go order here on two different occasions. Each time they tell us that it will be ready in a certain amount of time and it is normally double that time. They always have part of our order ready when we get here and then we sit and wait for 30 minutes before everything else is ready. By the time we get it, all the food is cold and the tempura is soggy. Super frustrating and disappointing especially when you spend a lot of money.
