OMCC is fantastic! I completed my LPN and RN programs from this college and got my license on first attempt. Nursing school is challenging. It is not something that you can put minimal time into and succeed. I had to study a lot on my own. The teachers are very knowledgeable and I feel like they taught me well. I enjoyed my time here and will recommend this school to my friends.

lost my job when the auto plant closed down, decided to be a nurse. went to several community colleges but they weren't good fits for me. then i found omcc. had problems at first but my instructors were very supportive, felt like quitting school a few times. the director dr daizey helped me a lot and told me not to give up. finally passed and now working as a nurse, planning to go back for my rn.

As a military spouse moving from base to base, the transition to school can be a little intimidating, not to mention frustrating as hell. I appreciate all the encouragement and help OMCC admissions office and financial aid office have given me, I genuinely felt like they cared. Class was fast paced but I had a great teacher who went over everything in meticulous detail to make sure we're ready to perform the required skills. Community day carry-in was very fun! I strongly recommend this school to anyone looking for a fast paced program with flexible schedule.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I came here for phlebotomy and finished, Shonda was a great teacher, but this school as a whole is a mess. The Director of the program is all about a dollar and very careless in my opinion. The day we were supposed to get our sticks done, we were told to bring in food to offer to volunteers and they would provide the pizza. Well, the pizza never was delivered, no explanation, just was told that they got the days mixed up. No apology either! Also, on the last day were supposed to receive our certificates at a certain time, the director went to a class and made us wait until she was done instructing. The people who work in her office as well are very rude, they twist your questions around and have no type real answer! Would never recommend going here if you have to spend a lot of money and want a long term certificate or complete the RN program, you’ll be in a work of irritation. Bottom line, scratch this school off your list if you’re looking to attend somewhere. Not worth the money or time.

I have worked here for 7 years. We have many supportive faculty and our director is very supportive. Our office staff is great too! I love getting to know my LPN students. We are a smaller school with smaller classes. I try to go above and beyond to help my students. We have many successful students working in the community!
