Worst company ever. This \waste management\ company always seems to \miss\ my grandmother's house. Mind you her house in in full view on a main road. I called in and because I was angry about the situation and told off the secretary who answered the phone, her \supervisor\ promptly told her to handing up. REAL PROFESSIONAL. People need to remember you're doing a JOB customers pay YOUR bills essentially. You decided to have this whack job, so do it. I dont need secondary comments. Just handle my issue.

We’ve had Waste Tech (now Ohio Valley Waste) for over 10 years. Since Ohio Valley Waste took over we have been very dissatisfied with service. They have skipped our house more than once and when contacted they have insinuated that we didn’t have it out in time. In addition, they will not pick up ANY bulk item without an extra charge and you have to preschedule the pick up. However, one time they did pick up a bulk item(which we had not scheduled because we were unaware that we had to) and then charged us without letting us know. When I called to ask about their bulk item policy, I was on hold for 15 minutes. We have cancelled our service and went with Republic. Oh and guess what? I talked to a person each time I called Republic and was not placed on hold! Where we live, they will pick up one bulk item a week free of charge. Shop around!

Great for debris and waste construction materials disposal. Best to be prepared to offload yourself or a small dump trailer works perfectly.

For 5 yrs they dumped with no problems. Now they must have a new nervous driver, because all of a sudden, they have issues with my loads and are forcing a cancel due to their change in abilities to provide service.

I know Ohio Valley Waste has gotten some flack since buying out waste tech... I've been a customer of waste tech for 10 years before Ohio Valley Waste took over. I can tell you that i have noticed some inflation in prices since the buyout. But this is everywhere! other trash companies are even more. I've called to pay my bill on the phone each quarter and i have never had anyone rude. The customer service has been awesome. I'm happy with Ohio Valley Waste and i still feel like their prices are the best in the area. Their staff is super friendly. The guys picking up trash are super friendly. There's so many negative reviews on here I thought i'd share my positive experience.
