Food always delicious and staff friendly. Lovely place to sit in for a meal but been getting take away since lockdown. Food always comes on time and well presented/cooked. Ordered a take away last night and got free gyozas with the order which was a great surprise.

Had the best experience at the Oiishi restaurant. I went there for my birthday dinner with my partner and loved it! I have only decided to go vegetarian about one week ago and have booked the place before the change. I thought about reconsidering my option but decided to go ahead and definitely did not regret it! The service there was very fast and efficient and they have some alternative vegetarian options in the menu. I have ordered a vegetarian Pad Thai and was surprised with the effort they have put into making it, there was all sorts of different veggies in there and the taste was delightfull. Would highly recommend it and go there again!
Chicken chilli noodle dish was very greasy, bland and chicken was like a jelly rubber texture, possibly frozen.
Food is great and would be 5 stars, however, recent order was missing sauce and left with basic fried chicken and boiled rice. Was offered 10 pound credit to use next time i ordered, which i accepted. when i did call to order again, noone had any knowledge and basically told tuff its not in the system and as a gesture 5 pound was offered. Out of a matter of principal i refused ie i was already told i by the restaurant they were crediting 10 so why should i accept anything less. All in all paid for full price for only part of a meal and mostly tasteless as a result. Left feeling to blame for the incompetence on both the meal and the credit..... get your \chef\ (who i spoke to original complaint) trained in checking the order and updating your system.... wont be back.
I highly recommend this place. It was extremely tasty and authentic Japanese food. Very friendly staff. Great romantic atmosphere. The service is fantastic. Sushi look and taste unbelievable. Great choice of food! Reasonably priced. We absolutely love this place!
