這裡從幼稚園到高中可一貫讀完，校區草木繁多，地方又大，因為是中油員工和附近居民的學區，近來中油遷廠中環境更好了。

早期中油員工子弟學校，班級數少，設施好，福利佳。現今校門口為高雄捷運站，交通方便，馬路寬長，停車接送小孩便利，門口尚保留整排的「白千層」老樹。與國中、高中為同一個校區。
