For Nissan Skyline fans, make sure you check out the Prince and Skyline Museum. A family park and small amusement area with several parking lots surrounds the grounds where the museum is located. From the main parking lot, only a small sign pointed the way up the hill. The building itself only had two signs that hinted at the treasures inside. Entry was a reasonable 1000. Walking down a flight of steps in the basement, it was as if the skyline opened up before me. The first area was lined with display cases of replica scaled cars, a few parts, magazines, manuals, and other paraphernalia. The rest were rows and rows of beautiful cars. According to a staff member, some of the cars are rotated out, so selection of cars will vary depending on when you visit. Also to note, the museum is closed in the winter months from November to March. So, any chance I can drive one of these home?

A little hard to find, you have to park in the car park and walk up a lot of steps to get to it. The trek is worth it though. Such a display of skylines and memorabilia! Not a lot of English on site, but it doesn't really matter.

長野県の諏訪湖の近くにある日産スカイラインの博物館です。 綺麗にレストアされた歴代のスカイラインやプリンス時代の車が展示されています。 売店にはスカイライングッズが販売されていて全国のスカイライン好きな人の聖地と言われています。 公園内にあり諏訪湖も見えて家族連れなら１日楽しめそうです。

20200627 ファンと櫻井眞一郎氏によって設立された博物館だそうです。岡谷市の公園の中にある公営？の施設のようでした。半地下の館内にスカイラインがずらりと並んでいます。数回来ましたが、都度展示車が変わっています。 車が好きな人は楽しめると思います。上映されている映像資料までじっくり見てると、結構時間がかかります。スタッフの方々は丁寧、親切。駐車場では何かしらのスカイラインのミーティングが開かれていて、まさに聖地といった感じです。HPに入場料割引のクーポンが公開されています。

駐車場から階段を登るのがなかなか大変でしたが、色んなスカイラインが見れて楽しかったです。特にスカイラインのファンという訳ではないですが、スカイラインの凄さや歴史が感じられて良かったです。

展示車両も多くて、楽しめました。この時季は、紅葉景色が、すばらしいです。
