Tucked in a law firm building, this record shop is a hidden gem by accident. Who would have thought inside this seemingly generic building there’s a place of beat and cart digging? Monkey Feet Record Store is located at the lobby, they recently expanded to other rooms. They carry the classics; American rock bands, 80’s new wave bands, Jazz and blues and also other gems like disco and Motown, Japan and UK pressing. The 10 for 3 is such a great deal, you’ll find yourselves digging around for 2 hours and score so much diverse music. The owners are super sweet too! They welcomed me in excitement and show me around. I really love the Rock room, it is warm and so so nostalgic. They play great music too. Over all, the vibe reminds me of the movie, Almost Famous. When you’re around OK, be sure to check out this hidden gem, for now, let these pictures to the talking.

Sir Bortimus Collins III

This is by far my favorite record shop in the city. They have a great selection of records, most of which are in excellent condition and they have an awesome selection of inexpensive records as well. I could easily spend an entire day rummaging through everything they have. All in all, a very unique experience to be had here and I highly recommend that any serious record collector in or around the city check this place out!
