Gorgeous little walk through bush, on a good track. My two young children easily rode their bikes around it. Lots of birds to see & hear. One of the Kiwi Guardian locations in the area. A little way out of town though.

Easy walk in the native bush. Small bridges and hidden areas, very tranquil
Although only a short 15-20 minute walk, the kahikitea trees are impressive, and we were enchanted by the constant birdsong. It reminds you of how the landscape used to be.
