I have been coming to Alberta Sport and Spine for 2 yrs for physio with Shaun and for the occasional massage and chiro appointment. All the staff are so helpful, supportive and understanding. If I ever have questions, I know I can ask with ease. Shaun is mindful with my treatment and how I’m feeling week to week - always checking in and trying new techniques when needed. He is super knowledgeable and supportive in directing me on the path to recovery.

I’ve used many chiropractors in my life & hands down Dr. Hicki is the best. He is very strong so his adjustments are accurate & smooth. He also isn’t afraid to get in there & work hard doing A.R.T. The clinic also has shockwave therapy & a traction machine. Both have kept me competing in ultra running for years even though I have a degenerative disc & past plantar fasciitis.

I came to the Alberta Institute for Spine and Sport Therapy in October 2020, practically disabled with sciatic pain. Dr. McLean has since used her ART techniques on my lower back and glute. It has worked wonderfully! I must admit that ART is pretty painful, but a must in order to go deep into the muscles. Dr. McLean is the BEST! Just recently, I started doing physio with Shaun. This young man knows his stuff! With a great pleasant demeanor, he always made me feel comfortable and welcomed. A great listener and quite a funny Physiotherapist. What an amiable fellow! Front staff are friendly, welcoming and courteous. The clinic is clean, and have great COVID protocols. I am not done my therapy, but I know that this Team is available should I need their virtual assistance. I highly recommend the Alberta Institute for Spine and Sport Therapy. 100%!

Dr. Paul Hicke worked a miracle with my frozen shoulder. I am 45 and had zero mobility and tons of pain. I was depressed as I have small kids and the pain and lack of mobility was negatively affecting my life. It was a year and a half of suffering before he was recommended to me. Within 3 months I had 90 per cent mobility back. Not going to lie....the treatment was extremely extremely painful but worth it. I have my life back!
