Beautiful historical location! Knowledgeable people and very friendly! This is a beautiful place to stop and spend a few hours!
Pretty good value for the experience. We spent about two hours looking through all the buildings, talking to the craftsmen and reenactors, and feeding the horses. Due to covid, only one family could be in each building at one time so depending on the time you go, it could take more or less time. They have a couple light snack options but you can bring your own food and eat at their picnic tables.
This is a great historical village with a ton of history. The staff here actually practice their craft (blacksmith, pottery, etc) and you can see them working, talk to them and purchase their products. Can easily spend hours here for a cheap admission.
This was such an amazing historical town to visit. It was the perfect mix of preserving history while also having an interactive experience for visitors. All the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and all the houses were well preserved and displayed. I really enjoyed the historically accurate farm animals they kept as well, and being able to feed them was a blast. Overall this is a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages, with plenty for both adults and children. I strongly recommend visiting if you are ever in the area!
