Lovely little place nice and calm scenery all around you.

Beautiful day, out for a bike ride. Although l only live a mile away and have been through dozens of times, l have never stopped and looked around. Well I have now! Very pleased that I did. Disused canal at one end of the hamlet, railway at the other, both in cuttings and not visible. Trans Pennine cycle trail and various footpaths all lead through Old Royston. Lovely little place.
