The first thing I noticed was the shop itself wad really dirty. Things seemed to be placed haphazardly in the glass cases and there was a layer of dust about everything. Despite this the lady running the place was extremely nice and offered me different sales that were available tailoring them to what I was looking at at the time. I also noticed her attempt to give another customer a couple free comics although he refused them. Overall niceness though couldn't save the store in my opinion.

Nice store cool items, I had taken an entire Scarface action figure collection, 3 were worth 20, another 40, one worth 160, and a Scarface lamp not sure the value. I pulled up the sale price of the 160 online and the girl said it was only worth 20 in her system and stated she only goes off eBay's sold price items. I looked on eBay in front of her and it wasn't listed (very rare figure) On various websites the toys go for the prices ive stated, she tried telling me the 160 dollar toy was worth 20 and said she wasn't interested at all in the collection but told me to make an offer, I made a very fair one and she wanted to offer me chump change. She was overly straight-forward and wasn't friendly at all. The store has good prices I'll admit but I will never take items to be sold here again, they obviously want you to practically give them your items at a totally unfair value so they can resale them for top dollar (yes I looked at most of their items for sale) the only good prices were the video games.
I will miss this place a lot. Margaret was always really super friendly, helpful and supportive of my independent comic book, Lunaria. Speaking of, she would still have some of my books from my consignment in the store, so if anyone knows how to get a hold of her, I would greatly appreciate it.
Very friendly staff and willing to help if you have questions or can't find anything. Also has a good selection of comics, collectibles and games, even Magic the Gathering. Cute store that is kid appropriate so as I'm looking at toys so can my kids.
This is a fantastic shop, I have been going here for many year buying my weekly pulls and both the people are very helpful when you ask them the right questions. One of the best shops in town of you want to be treated like a proper human being.
I visited here on a Saturday afternoon with primary intention of digging for back issues. The comic book are all arranged in boxes, priced either at half of cover price or at 1 each. The books are naked (not bagged or boarded), and within each box are in absolutely no order. Most of the books are Copper Age to Modern, in varying condition from VF to coverless trash. In general these boxes were pretty filthy. There is one small section of higher-value books with are all bagged. Some are boarded. Prices on them seemed to be consistent with eBay going rates from what I could tell. I ended up buying about 5 books there. My finger tips were black from all the dirt, and I'm fairly certain that while shifting boxes around I disturbed an insect nest as a swarm of something came flying out at one point, but I found a small handful of books at reasonable prices which is what I like. I'll probably come back on my next visit to ABQ.
Love buying comics here. People are super friendly and helpful.
Great place if you want to try another gaming/card they just don't have card singles
