Wanted to see how VIP have grown.....pardon the pun ......over these last 4 years and I was not disappointed ! What a fabulous, professional Community endeavour......loved by all who spend their time there. I wanted to visit to encourage my Residents to spend some time there either volunteering or ‘sitting with a cuppa ‘ and ‘directing ‘ !! .........I am hoping for us to get a few on a Ring n Ride and spend a couple of hours, one Thursday. Needless to say I came away with bags and boxes of fabulous, organically grown, just picked vegetables to put into lovely salads or to make into soup. I haven’t picked peas from the plant in years and can’t wait to sample their sweetness! I will be visiting again in August when the carrots are ready to be picked. Can’t wait to visit again! This is such an amazing place, community driven place that grows fantastic fruits and vegetables. Well done to all the volunteers that make it what it is
Would definitely recommend veg in the park was a brilliant experience and definitely the place to go if you got spare time on your hands and to meet some really nice people and do a bit of hard work only if you want to though so definitely would recommend veg in the park
