Dr Onsongo has been my family doctor for 10 years, she's amazing. Front desk staff and some nurses are usually pretty ignorant and rude though. EDIT JULY 18 2020: Had to actually complain about front staff to my doctor this time. To both the receptionists working at 2:40 yesterday, please read your job description. My doctor shouldn’t have to step in and intervene and tell you to do your job and book my appointment. Again 10/10 for Dr Onsongos care. 0/10 for the receptionists attitudes.

First time at this clinic. Went for simple antibiotics for a sinus infection as I’ve done at other clinics half a dozen or more times. Painful face, colourful mucus, throat drip, etc. Doctor refused antibiotics, only offering a nasal spray that I couldn’t use more than 4 days consecutively and an explanation that the sinus infection is not bacterial and would go away on its own. And that I need to come back for another assessment if I don’t get better. Ended up going to a clinic in Calgary to get what I needed. Don’t waste your time here if you’re in need of medical assistance.

I have multiple horrid experiences here! Years ago, I went to the doctors there because I had a horrible cough and I would throw up while coughing. I could run, had energy, etc. I asked for help and they refused antibiotics. Well, it only got worse. I coughed to the point blood, snot, spit, food, would all be thrown up. As well as losing control of my bladder. It got so bad I was rushed to the doctor. They put me on antibiotics right then and there. Few days after, I was like brand new! Now. Here is my other story that happened. I went to get a refil on some medication that I have been taking for over a year now. This heavy German accented doctor put a refill and gave me the prescription. Now, mind you. This is medication I've been taking for YEARS. So, I get to the pharmacy and she sees the prescription. She asked if he changed the amount because It was half of what I used to take MANY years ago. So I go back and he changed it to a full amount. Get home, fill it up and notice that the pills look weird, smaller, and a different colour. ITS THE WRONG PILLS. This is where I got very upset. Just from not looking at the files that close, could have killed me. I would of been dead if I hadn't noticed and taken those pills. Simple and stupid mistakes like these can actually cost people their lives. It is a nice free clinic, but they don't help you! They are just there to get paid and don't care about others well being. (Not all, but surely most) Very very upset with this place!
