I attended a virtual custom scent event in December and just knew I had to host one for my friends as well. We settled on having it in February for Galentine's Day and it was the perfect occasion. Meganne helped to coordinate and was very flexible as we made changes and updates to our event. Our event host took us through the process, explaining the perfumer behind each core scent, popular scents they have created and the different combinations we could make with the core scents and accords. We all really enjoyed the event and the scents we have ordered thus far. If you're thinking about having a virtual event, don't think... just do! You won't regret it.

I sought this place out when I was trying to duplicate a fragrance that had been discontinued. When I left the store I thought I had made a good match. What we created was good but what comes out of my spray bottle now smells nothing like that. The perfume smells nothing like I thought at the time. :( It's still a mildly pleasant fragrance but nothing I would have bought on its own merits. I feel like I wasted the 78 for my custom fragrance in the large 50ml size plus an additional 20 for one of their own blends in the smaller 20ml size. Especially since the fragrances only last for one to two hours. It fades very fast. 106 down the drain! It gets 3 stars because I had a good experience while I was there. But the final product leaves much to be desired. And the way the fragrances fade so fast? Not cool!

This is one of the most fun experiences you will have in NYC! This is where you come to make your own personalized fragrances! It's unisex and both men and women can come and sit with someone at the store to make their own signature fragrance. I came here on a rainy afternoon with a friend and we had so much fun coming up with our signature scents. It takes around 15 mins from start to finish. First you pick a \cord scent\ which is a major scent group to see what you like, then you mix the cord scent with an accord scent. You get to try several different mixtures until you are happy with the one you like the best. You even get to try it on your skin before making a final decision. The most fun part for me was to pick out the color of the bottle and what to write on it, and also watching them make the perfume. They have a mini laboratory right behind the counter and you can see them mixing the liquids to make your perfume. This is hands down my favorite gift to give to all my friends for birthdays now. You are giving someone a fun present AND an experience. Love this place. IG-traveleen_gurl
