Some of the best food we've had in a long time. Who has ever heard of fried ribs? Tender, fall off the bone meaty ribs, cheesy mac 'n cheese, flavorful greens. And a piece of the best caramel pecan cake this side of the Rockies! Stop by, meet the owner/chef and try some of this hidden gems tasty food.

Wish they were closer to Yuba City bc the food is just AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! First time trying southern food. The portions are so HUGE that we had leftovers for the next day! The oxtail, fried chicken and meatloaf was cooked to perfection. The Smothered chicken was slightly salty but still good. Mashed potatoes and corn bread were the best but I think they forgot to add corn bread to each plate (ordered takeout) only one of our plates had the corn bread, which is fine. We had ordered extra corn bread which was enough for a family of 6. The Mac and cheese was one of my favorites, so yummy. I will definitely come back when I'm craving some more Southern food!

Catfish is very tasty, a favorite of our family. The smothered pork chops are excellent as well. Portions are beyond generous - it's at least 2 dinners worth (more like 3 for me). The desserts are also incredible. For sides, I recommend the green beans and the fried cabbage, which are both flavorful. Great people serving great food. Make the trip, they are a superb local gem.

I have ALWAYS been delighted with the scrumptious taste and ample portions at Erma Jean's. NOBODY makes better greens than Drake! Everything is made with love and from real, fresh ingredients. PLEASE stop by and try this spectacular southern cooking! Don't forget dessert!

Chitterings were delicious today! Finally, they’re available. We’ve searched high and low for this delicacy and finally the owner found some. Greens, sweet potatoes, cabbage, fried catfish and oxtails!! Lawd... they had steam rising off them after Christopher ate for 30 minutes! Excellent wait staff. Best soul food ever.

Everything was fresh that I had and seasoned to perfection the meal was awesome. The chicken was cooked to my way of liking and that's not easy to do I like my chicken to cook for hours and they did it in 7 minutes and it tasted awesome great job guys and the service was just as good as the food.

I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes & gravy and corn bread threw doordash, it came pretty quick and was still fairly hot. And plenty of food for the price but the gravy was insanely salty, and the steak breading was almost as salty with an abundance of pepper, too much. I love salt and pepper and have had plenty of southern and soul food but nothing like this. im the guy who puts salt and pepper on everything, i can't remember ever eating something that i thought had too much. Im hoping it was a bad cook and that its not the norm.

The owner Drake is probably the most genuine person I've ever come across. The food is incredible. The atmosphere is so welcoming, you'd swear you were at your uncle's crib. Cannot stress enough how much you need to get in there and order you some catfish and greens. Drake is the real MVP.
