The pay your unemployment claim, then force you to pay the funds back with interest and penalties. When the funds were in your account for less than a week and you intended on sending the funds back to ESD. Socialist and communist mofo's! Then they send you a tax form at the end of the year, form 1099g stating only the amount they paid to you. No notation it was paid back with fees and interest with a ZERO in box #1 under unemployment compensation. Crooks' YES!!!!

After a separation in November I was placed in \adjudication\ with no communication from the employment securities division. I have attempted to communicate with ESD representatives during the ongoing period, no one at the helpline is able or willing to provide a direct number for adjudications, or more information regarding the adjudication \process\ or even information on the needed documentation to swiftly complete this process. It is now February and the only timeline I have received is 15-17 weeks. With a data breach and millions in missing funds for fraudulent claims it is obvious that the ESD is directly responsible for creating unnecessary hardship and increased pain and suffering for those Washingtonians affected by the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.

As frustrating as it can be to get a hold of a live person over the phone at times, I am consistently blown away by this office's professionalism and punctuality. I have primarily spoken to Gloria, who has been incredibly helpful and doesn't hesitate to help even if the question being asked is outside of her purview. To all the recent negative reviews - there are thousands upon thousands of people calling in who need help. Show some patience and gratitude.

I don’t even know where to begin I know there is a lot more people trying to get ahold of staff members but it’s been 12 weeks and I still haven’t even received a message. We’re in a global pandemic and this is our money we’re claiming.
