I would rate then 0 if I could. They have the absolutely worst bedside manner, rude staff, and can't seem to keep keep private information private. Two times now they have let information get into the wrong hands. In one instance the breach wad done by THEIR OWN STAFF. Then they way months to say anything. You are better off going anywhere else.

I recently needed medical care to the point that I went to the emergency room and was eventually admitted. From the ER nurses and doctors, the techs, nurses, lab techs, test administrators, specialty doctors and Hospitalist, I couldn't have asked for a better team. From the quality of care to the positive attitudes, every staff member had my best interest at the forefront. I highly recommend UNMC for exceptional care and personally applied treatments. Two up!

The outpatient pharmacy is great there although I have found some medications less expense else where that take prescription discount cards you can get for free

Very disappointed in care provided. Nursing seems sorely under staffed. Although they frequently have cell phone in hand. Communication between staff (doctors and nursing staff)is lacking. Communication of providers and patients is insufficient. Facility is dirty dusty and run down. And should we talk about HIPPA....nothing to talk about....it doesn't exist there. Hep locks do not get flushed even after several days....negligent much? Showers/bed baths not offered to patient even after 3 days in-house. Are they trying for some nosocomial infections?
