I have found the whole process easy to do, the staff I spoke to were helpful, polite and super efficient. After literally months of trying to resolve an issue with the company involved they got a response within 24 hours! I am so impressed and very grateful that this is finally resolved. If you are wondering whether it is worth the effort it really is if you have a genuine complaint and feel you were treated unfairly.

It's an Ombudsman. If you read about other Ombudsmen, especially from books like that from Della Reynolds, you will see that there's something seriously wrong with Ombudsmen. Guess what, this one is no exception.

They seem a waste of time like the energy companies. Ive heard nothing about my case which started in october 2020 ive sent numerous messages and spoken to them on telephone and still nothing.. They have had all the correct information and proof of things . Just added more stress to my ongoing situation im not happy. Thought they were there to help and support you if energy company have failed and breached things waste of time

Absolutely shocking that the ombudsman backed Scottish Power without looking at the main evidence to my complaint. Wow I can't believe how incredibly incompetent they are. There is no point in appealing if they aren't interested in reviewing the evidence which is integral to the case in the first place. I will be contacting my MP to request an investigation into blatant incompetence.

I have heard soooo many stories about obmbudsman and it's very rearly good..if ombudsman are free this may usually mean there govement funded and posibley a conflict of intrest ..due to this .. Similar to some citizen advice bureau s are council.run ...which means you will.never get near the energy suppliers banks and soooo on as the govement look after the money that they get in taxes and so on from them.... Waist of space ....and just go through the motions some of them... Unless a ombudsman is impartial.not being funded by council.etc your case is going to be side tract according to alot of storys . About ombudsman and citizens advice ..even solicitors....as we have no legal.aid .less and less help.in your best interest I'd out there
