Very picturesque temple right on the water. It’s got to be the most magical site for a shrine I’ve ever seen so far. There’s a beach nearby but it’s not that great. There’s a lookout point but you need to drive up to get there. Lots of spiders on those trees so be careful going through the trees.

Very beautiful and interesting shrine. Right on the beach. The shrine is in two parts, the main shrine area and a separate shrine in a nearby cave. Lots of interesting stories about its history to discover and fantastic views. Free parking and toilets at the entrance. Also has a beach next door. A few good spots to picnic or just sit and relax. For how interesting this place is it wasn’t very busy so easy to enjoy.

The most amazing shrine in Japan hands down. The mystery and stories surrounding this place is awesome. I could spend hours here.

The cave shrine is absolutely awesome! The stairs are very steep though, so it might not be accessible to everyone. We were lucky that there were no other people there, so it was a nice quiet spot to sit on the rocks and take everything in.
