What a great place to stay! Even though it's winter, it was like a little getaway. It was quiet and peaceful. I stayed through airbnb in their cottage. It was older and more rustic and could def use some updates but it was fine because it had everything we needed and more! Awesome host too. I can't wait to see what it's like in summer, definitely recommend if you want to hang out in this area but be a bit away from town! Hope to spend more time there next time!

Went here for a wedding, this is a typical farm in Wisconsin but offers much more. The cabins were all nice and air conditioned. Love the chickens running around and the disc golf course. We all enjoyed and canoe out to the lake, it was beautiful. The owner Jeremy is a nice gentleman, easy to talk to, and very laid back. He even gave us fresh eggs which we had for breakfast the next morning and they were amazing. He has a package plan where you get fresh vegetables and eggs for a great price, please ask him about this subscription. He has a nice set up with outdoor showers/bathroom and plenty of space for camping. The wedding set up was beautiful, the lawn was nicely cut and he had a horse shoe pit to keep the guest occupied. I would definitely go back and stay here again.

Missed my Airbnb review window but definitely wanted to review this amazing place. My husband and I booked a couple nights as a spur of the moment getaway during memorial day weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased with this decision! Trevor is the chillest, nicest host and helped us get situated upon our late night arrival. We then proceeded to have a magical day and evening canoeing and hiking and just generally taking in his breakthtaking property. Sure we were maybe expecting delicious farm fresh eggs and to see some countryside and water, but we just were not expecting to have free access to a canoe, to freely explore along the wolf river, to see gibormous birds nests, go morel hunting and much more. We also loved hearing about the farm and seeing all the animals. If you have the chance to visit, stay or be hosted at Rusty Buckets, do not hesitate! My husband and I were really slow to leave after our check out time but I told him "it's okay, we'll definitely be back." I'm looking forward to it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Trevor was a great host. He provided some food in the kitchen including freshly layed eggs and beverages in the fridge. Access to the water and I caught a few fish.

We had the most fantastic experience at the farm this last weekend. We had 30 people stay between the houses/cabins and RV/campers. The property is so beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better host in Trevor. He was most attentive to all of our needs over the 4 nights! We had fun with family time, watching chickens roam and giving treats to the horses. It’s all we could have asked for and more! Thank you Trevor!!

The farm is like stepping back in time. The host is amazing and helpful. The price is reasonable.
