I Like Gaming

Jenn was very nice, but the other lady wouldn't provide me a sick note. Told me to contact my doctor which would take multiple days to get a note when she had already started to write one then threw it away. Not sure why.

Will never set foot inside this Express Care again. And they don’t deserve the 1 star that I rated them... After trying to log into the kiosk without success, I walked to the reception desk (which is what the kiosk instructs you to do) and was met with a massive eye roll from the receptionist. She then rudely asks “what do you need”. I explain that I needed to be seen and that I’m actually a Mayo patient to which she replies “what for”. At that moment I was struggling with five-plus days of 102 fevers and higher and had been diagnosed days before with strep throat and an ear infection and things weren’t improving but only getting worse. I had explained this to her with tears in my eyes from pain and fear that something was wildly wrong. Her response was unbelievably disheartening and shocking - “well your meds aren’t done so you’re fine”. After bringing a mildly-nice PA into the conversation, the both of them agree that they don’t necessarily “feel” like they can help me and suggest I make an appointment with my regular doctor (which we all know can take months). I immediately tear up even more and thank them and walk out. I would really like the two of these individuals to know that I was diagnosed the very next day with a horrible intestinal infection that, if had been caught a day earlier, (by them and I know they can do labs and send them off) I would potentially be in a healthier state today. Had these two only let me speak with an actual medical professional, in a medical room, they maybe would have put the pieces together of what was really happening with my body. I truly can’t say how saddened and disappointed I am in Gundersen and their staff at this location. Because of this, I will never recommend nor set foot in one of their facilities ever again.

Practitioner and person at desk much more concerned about having personal conversations than taking care of patients. Long line in the waiting room and after each patient they were talking about personal things for a number of minutes. Nurse vanished for 20 minutes without helping anyone. Definitely not an “Express” or friendly option.

Cara at the reception desk needs to check her attitude.... Granted she gave a solution with out having my husband seen and charged by the doc (hence two stars) but when I asked her to explain her ‘diagnosis’ of my husband’s symptoms (because what he’s experiencing isn’t mentioned anywhere in the symptom lists or documentation regarding sinus’) she acted like I slapped her in the face and that it was an insult to even have to answer. Look, I get it you got the short end of the stick and stuck in a grocery store clinic and probably encounter some real dandys... fine, be peevish about where your at, but if someone who’s obviously concerned for her husband’s health asks you to elaborate on the reasoning you don’t have to get snippy about it. Besides, it wasn’t a very good or clear explanation....

The Lady Cara (I think that’s how you spell it) at the front desk was nothing but rude. She informed me that my nieces throat was not sore at the last visit after I stated that I forgot to share that information with my nieces mom before her appointment two days ago. She informed me she just had a viral thing without testing. I felt like I was a huge I convince standing in the office. I am very disappointed with my service today.

Seems that the other ratings are INCORRET! I have used this Gundersen's Urgent Care numerous times & have found the entire Staff extremely professional & competent. To add additional credibility to my rating, on one visit the NP on duty found an underlying medical condition, AFIB. I feel very comfortable utilizing & the medical care provided me, as does my entire Medical Team. NP Janine Engen & Jen Yang are the "Bomb Diggity"!!
