Lovely shop with beautiful fiber. The owner is very helpful and took the time to show my son how to wet felt wool. Very knowledgeable about spinning and weaving. Enjoyable for the whole family.

This charming shop is filled with beautiful, lovingly crafted yarns, fiber art and other fun finds. My husband loves the Soulmate socks Ten Good Sheep carries and I love their felted soap. The artisan makes her own amazing soap just for these colorful felted gems. This is a great place to pick up a gift for someone special.

We arrived in town just before their 5/1 reopening, so we went to the site and found Karyn, the owner, hard at work getting everything ready. She was kind enough to give us the grand tour. We especially loved the hand-dyed yarn - such wonderful colors. Whether you knit, crochet, spin, or are looking for unique wool-based gifts, Ten Good Sheep is a great place to go!

A surprise visit to Ten Good Sheep today was a true highlight of my family's Eastern Shore vacation! This was not a good beach day, so we decided to explore the area. I thought we were visiting a yarn shop; while this was true, we got SO much more than a shopping experience. Karyn made us feel very welcome, and she offered an educational experience for us about the art of yarn production. She was especially generous to our 7 year old son, and she allowed him to feed the sheep. She explained and demonstrated her art of sheep-shearing, yarn spinning, weaving, dyeing colors, painting colors, and so much more. We left Ten Good Sheep enriched, inspired, and anxious to create our own art with textiles and yarn. I can't wait to come back someday!

This is a great place to visit if you are interested in fiber. The owner is very friendly and helpful with beautifully dyed yarn in a variety of weights, colors and textures as well as lots of roving. It was also fun to see the lambs and feed them. The tour of the spinning, carding, weaving and dying process was really interesting too.
