On my way down to NC for vacation, my car broke down in Onancock and I had it towed here. They were very helpful to my situation and replaced the starter for a very reasonable price! I was able to pick up on the way home a week later no problem.

The owners of this shop/wrecker service are absolutely awesome. I was passing through town and unfortunately had an accident. They were dispatched by the State Police as I knew no one to call for wrecker service in Virginia. I was in a nervous and anxiety state after the bad accident. Upon arrival the driver of the wrecker (son of the owners), quickly took appraisal of the situation and began getting my vehicle turned right side up and ready to load onto the wrecker. I had tools and an air compressor that had been strewn all over the side of the road. He quietly and quickly began helping me recover my belongings and load them on the truck. Having no one to respond rapidly to pick me up, they kindly allowed me to ride in the wrecker to their office. They offered whatever I needed to get myself organized. They allowed me access to my truck after hours to pick up my tools and personal belongings. Even to the extent that they had to help pry the door open just so that I could get stuff out. Kind, considerate and extremely professional, they are the model of what a wrecker service should be. I highly recommend this company, these people to anyone in their service area. You will be very pleased with the service you receive.
We're down here on vacation and our car battery died overnight. Woody's Auto service was able to replace our battery at a reasonable price. We appreciate their honesty, ability to replace the battery in a timely manner and their convenient location! Thanks you so much for assisting us!
I left there crying. I heard he was hard and mean. But I am a Christian woman so I do not judge. He rejected my only way of transportation for a rusty frame. I’m new here from Texas, bought the car here. It passed last year. Mercy is shown where mercy is given. I would say what I think of these people, but like I said I AM A CHRISTIAN WOMAN.
Illegally overcharging for tow fees, storage fees and crash cleanup fees. The Commonwealth of Virginia regulates Towing charges related to accidents and impounds. These people overcharged by 325. The state regulates Towing charges at 125 during the day and 150 at night. Clean up charges cannot exceed 25. Storage rates cannot exceed 25 per day after the first 24 hours. They charged 50 for cleanup, 50 per day for storage, and 300 for the tow. I was charged five days of storage even though they only legally had it for 4 days. My attorney will have a field day with this. The vehicle was a rental car and they thought they could gouge me. 600 to get my car out... The Virginia State Corporation Commission and Virginia towing advisory board will have a field day with these people.
