It was great to find this place open after everywhere else in town closed early. I was so grateful to find real espresso after our ride back from Imabari. The cake too was more decadent than I thought it would be. The master was friendly, and the atmosphere reminiscent of an old cafe off a back alley in Europe. I also had a chicken sandwich that was better than it's price implied. Overall great experience.

尾道駅から10分ほど、東（福山方面）へ歩いてくと、千光寺のロープウェイ乗り場付近に看板が出ていました。山陽本線のガードをくぐり右側にあります。店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、映画のポスター、ジャズのCD, 書物などがたくさん並び、店主の「こだわり」が感じられ、 また古い建物ですがそれがいい味を醸し出していました。 コーヒの味は絶品。昔の古き良き時代を感じることができました。
JRの線路をくぐりちょっと坂を上がったところにある。入口からカウンターがあり、奥にテーブル席が数席ある。平日の１６時くらいに入店。他に人はいなかった。他の人の言っている喫煙は、今は看板に禁煙の文字が見え、客の意見を取り入れたようだ。室内からは外が見えない完全に室内の雰囲気を楽しむ店となっている。ただ、室内はそれほど暗くはないので、本が十分読める。音楽はジャスが控えめに流れ、いい雰囲気が漂う。コーヒーも数種類用意されている。オーターは一つしかしなかったが、美味しかった。飾りや欲というより作り手が楽しみ、お客も楽しんでもらう店のようだ。
