Retro-styled but very clean kissaten Japanese coffee shop in Onomichi’s covered shopping arcade (near the ropeway Station end of the arcade). Excellent place for breakfast and popular with locals. Several “morning” set breakfasts served 7:30 am to 11 am - classic like toast and egg plus some added with waffles! Super cool siphon coffee - sit at the counter to enjoy the show!

The manner who keeps blowing the beans will blow out the flavor of cafe' . That is why there is no scent 香り inside.
The plain waffle was delicious and the atmosphere of the cafe was great!
We ordered onomichi original hot coffee and found it quite plain when we drank it black. The waffle although was done quite crispy outside, lacked egg flavour. But the interior decoration is very Japanese old style. (Showa style?)
Great coffee . Full of aroma and flavor. A must try if you happen to past onomichi.
