Great ramen, great sides, really fun & friendly vibe, cheap as hell, amazing place. Everything we had tasted amazing and we left with a bunch of friends to go on to our next destination in the hood. You can stand and eat outside too, which is fun.

It is popular for foreigners. That's it. If you want a real Onomichi ramen, this place wouldn't be for you. Though the taste is not very bad, the style is arranged in their own way with coriander (never supposed to be on japanese ramen). It is far away from the style of Onomichi ramen. It is defo more tourist oriented and easy place to have a 'local-like' atmosphere at the counter occupied mainly by foreigners or non-local tourists.
I popped in and the chef/owner made me a meatless version of his ramen even though it wasn’t on the menu. Food is delicious. Little cozy place, and nobody smokes inside which is a big plus for me personally:)
Very unassuming preparation and tiny, tiny space but this was a really good bowl of Onomichi ramen (shoyu and lard-base)!
Delicious organic and locally sourced ramen! The owner and server speak some English and are very friendly and engaging. We had a great meal!
