Just a nice ropeway. Cheap and nice views.

Fun trip up, nice views. Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere at the top. A warning about walking down: it involves lots of stairs, many of which are uneven. Not a long walk, but could be a problem for people who have trouble with stairs. On the upside, walking down allows you to check our lots of interesting shrines and neighborhoods.
Nice cable car just a short walk from the station. Went during the week and there was no queue. Good views over the bay and reasonably priced.
21年3月4日に訪れました。 『千光寺山ロープウェイ』山麓駅はJR山陽本線・尾道駅から徒歩約15分です。 「艮（うしとら）神社」に隣接していて、「艮神社」境内にある、樹齢900年といわれている立派なクスノキを眼下に見ることができます。 今回私は登りのみ（片道）ロープウェイを利用しました。 約3分間の空中散歩を一緒に同乗するガイドさんの話を聞きながら楽しみました。
以前来た時はバイクで登ったので、今回はロープウェイを使って見ることに。 ロープウェイやリフト、ゴンドラに乗るのはワクワク感が半端ない。 乗っている間の観光地の説明も、いい味を出してる。
コロナ前は休日ともなると凄い行列でしたが、この時期は毎年メンテ休業だそう。何度乗っても素晴らしい眺めが楽しめるので大好きなロープウェイです。千光寺まで歩いて帰りにロープウェイってのもオススメですね。
