One of the coastal places that sees me more often and which I sorely missed the last few months! A place where I can stroll on the boulevard, the beach and never so cold that I cannot test the water.

A beautiful sea view where you can enjoy a walk on the sand , but not so special tho! There's a disney sand sculpture at the beach at this time (for 10 euros). The train station is small and basic ... Its plus that you can rent a bicycle at the exit
Good train station with order..
The first station in Ostend was opened in 1838 during the reign of Leopold I of Belgium on the former Belgian railway line 62 to Torhout and is now a supermarket. The NMBS station was opened in 1913 during the reign of Albert I of Belgium. The station is designed to connect trains and ferries and is built with Scottish Granite, Bluestone from Soignes and Limestone from Euville. It is constructed in a classical style of architecture inspired by the French architect from the 18th Century François Mansart and the Louis XVI of France style. It was almost demolished and replaced by a Calatrava building as our minister of demolition (Johan Van de Lanotte) wanted, but lack of money saved it.
Very nice place to visit
Clean station. Close to the sea.
fresh seafood
The train station dates from 1913 and the main hall was built in Belle Epoque style. Although not as impressive as train stations Antwerp and Liège, recent renovations have returned the more modest splendor to the main hall. The departure and arrival hall is now modern industrial and functional design. This train station is a main hub with connections on short walking distance to the coastal tram to Knokke and De Panne, city buses and taxis. You can buy train, tram and bus tickets in the main hall using self- service machines or at the manned ticket office.
