The place was open for room service and I went to bed convinced the world was a beautiful place just because I had the Salmon dish with a glass of pinot grigio from the Opaline bar and brasserie.

My wife and I wanted to try some French food, the ambience was nice, the server was very helpful with explain the different French foods on the menu, it was spacious and not like your typical French restuarant where everyone is bunch together. We order steak and chicken, it was well peppered and tasty, for appetizer we tried the french onion soup it was unique, we'll definitely go again.

I visited with a guest from out of town in this lovely French-cafe style eatery housed within their hotel. The atmosphere was pleasant with a mixture of business guests and (seemingly) millenials in the know who would rather avoid the crowds at Starbucks and the like. Service was attentive and friendly. They were not skimpy with the cream and sugar for my coffee. I will gladly return when in downtown DC during the morning rush.
